In 2011 the Boys & Girls Club of Lenoir County served 184 active Club members.
100% of our Club members who were graduating seniors received their high school diploma.
89% of our Club members maintained a C or above gpa.
The Club reported 0 pregnancies among all Club members.
The Club reported 0 court involved Club members due to its violence, drug and gang prevention program implementation.

Is for boys and girls. Our Club has a youth-only membership and satisfies the age-old desire of boys and girls to have a "Club" of their own.
Has full-time professional leadership. Our staff is supplemented by part-time workers and volunteers.
Builds character. Our Club programs help to instill good character traits in boys and girls, even those youth in danger of acquiring unacceptable habits and attitudes.
Assures that all young people can afford to belong. Membership dues are kept low, so that all can afford to belong. No one will be deterred from joining.
Is building-centered. Activities are conducted in the warm, friendly atmosphere of facilities equipped for such programs.
Is for boys and girls of all races, religions and ethnic cultures.
Is non-sectarian and has an open-door policy. Our Club is open to all members during its regular hours of operation.
Has a varied and diversified program that works. The Club recognizes and responds to the collective and individual needs of young people, utilizing nationally recognized educational and recreational programs that have proven effective over many years.
Is guidance-oriented. The Boys & Girls Club of Lenoir County emphasizes positive values in the relationships members have with each other and their adult leaders. We help boys and girls make appropriate and satisfying choices in their physical, educational, personal and social lives.

We build character through everyday leadership and guidance in behavior and attitude. Young people of all nationalities, races and creeds join together in wholesome recreation and companionship.
Trained professional staff provide positive adult mentors and role models. Nationally recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interests in the arts and sports, and explore vocational choices.
Most importantly, the Club shows youngsters that someone cares and wants them to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
